Bruno Mičetić is an educated jazz musician and a well-known guitarist from Rijeka, who has a broad musical career, numerous studio releases and collaborations with eminent musicians from the entire region. In fact, there is almost no jazz festival that was not complemented by his performance.

The constant search for a deeper understanding of music led Bruno to Austria, where he graduated from the Jazz Conservatorium Klagenfurt, after which he began teaching at the National University in Rijeka and in the associations Ars Musica and Gitara Mediterana. In recent years, he has been directing his pedagogical work to the elementary music school "Matka Brajša Rašana" in Labin, collaborating with the association Ri Rock , Rock Academy and the Music House in Zagreb.

He is the founder of the project "Rab Jazz Festival", which has been held for the fifth year in a row and which featured all the big names from the region and Europe. "Bruno Mičetić Sextet" held a concert "Beuaty Of Your Soul" on September 14, 2017. in the small hall of Vatroslav Lisinski and recorded a CD and DVD live release released by Dallas Records.

After the concert in Lisinski, Bruno Mičetić collaborated with Croatian actress Renata Sabljak and held several concerts in Croatia, and in 2019 he released the album "Capturing the moment" and with it he performed concerts at Hnk Ivana Pl. Zajc and at numerous events and festivals in Croatia and abroad.

This year Bruno recorded a new album “Out of the shadow”, released by Dallas Records.

He performed with Tereza Kesovija, Milan Petrović Jazz Quartet, Dominic Miller; he collaborated on projects with Zrinko Tutić and Rajko Dujmić, Zvjezdan Ružić, Dušan Kranjec, Primož Grašić, Ratko Divjak and others and performed for the audience of eminent festivals, from the Liburnia Jazz Festival through the Summer at Gradina to the Nišville Jazz Festival.

At this concert, the audience will be able to experience all the musical diversity that Bruno has been building for years and which is relaxed, spiritual and meditative on the one hand, and unpredictable, spontaneous and dynamic on the other and reflects his sincere love for music. A combination of blues, ballads, traditional jazz or fusion are just some of the jazz nuances that will color the Opatija Summer Stage.
