MIKE STERN / RANDY BRECKER feat. Dennis Chambers & Tom Kennedy

Long-time friends and associates Mike Stern and Randy Brecker have recently created Dream Team of the jazz fusion music by calling on drummer Dennis Chambers and bass player Thomas Kennedy. According to many critics, this is the jazz fusion quartet whit the best guitar player, best trumpeter, best drummer and best bass player

Mike Stern is one of the most revered guitarists of his generation and has had musical partnerships with the likes of Blood, Sweat & Tears, Billy Cobham, Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, The Brecker Brothers, and Joe Henderson, over his four-decade-long career. An electrifying performer who combines rock, blues, and fusion with sophisticated jazz harmonies. His personal guitar heroes and inspirations include Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, and Albert King. He has been named Best Jazz Guitarist of the Year several times in various music magazines, and he has been Grammy-nominated six times.

Five times Grammy award, Jazz trumpet player and composer Randy Brecker has contributed the shaping and developing the sound of jazz, R&B, and rock for more than four decades. His trumpet and horn has adorned hundreds of albums with a broad selection of artists including James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Parlamentet/Funkadelic, Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Jaco Pastorius, and Frank Zappa.

Dennis Chambers has recorded and performed with John Scofield, Santana, John McLaughlin, George Duke, Brecker Brothers, Parliament/Funkadelic, Niacin and many others. Chambers has become well known among drummers for his technique and speed. Chambers exhibits a powerful style that is technically proficient, yet highly musical and groove-oriented. He can play in a wide variety of musical genres, but is perhaps most notable for his jazz-fusion, funk, and Latin music playing. He is mostly known for his fast hands and triplets on the bass drum.

Tom Kennedy is an accomplished touring and studio musician who ranks as one of the top acoustic and electric bass players in the world. His credits include performances and recordings with both mainstream legends and leading contemporary players (Tania Maria, Al DiMeola, Dave Weckl, Lee Ritenour,...). Intrigued by the endless possibilities of the instrument, he began developing his now signature style best described as deep, soulful grooves merging seamlessly into acrobatic, horn-like soloing.
